newsflash: you're going to die.

I was joking with a friend recently that my clients pay me to tell them that they're going to die. And that there's the possibility that it could happen soon. Sooner than they hope, sooner than they're ready for.

Here's the real hard truth about life: you're going to die. We all are. It could happen tomorrow. There are no guarantees.

And, honestly, there's not a lot we can do about any of it. Except for starting to live, and I mean really live, starting right now.

Now. Not in a few minutes. right. this. second.

If you're reading this as a way to get inspired, to seek out change, to truly live a life you've designed for yourself, congratulations! You've taken a step towards making a change for yourself.

{Note: admitting you need a change is really the first step.}

Now get started in living. Turn off the internet. Turn off the TV. Walk away from the noise. Put away all of the inspiration that other people are giving you and start finding it for yourself.

Because it's possible. Really, truly, no kidding, it's possible to live a delicious, deliberate life. It's possible to have the kind of life that you envy in other people. To really suck the juice out of all that life has to offer.

And you owe it to yourself, because one day you're going to die. And when that day comes, you don't want to look back and think, "I wish I'd started living sooner. I wish I hadn't waited so long."

It's your life. Why wouldn't you want to live the shit out of it?
